An Overview For Using the Neighborhood Website

Welcome to the Antrim Glen Property Owners Association (AGPOA) Website. You will find all of the links on the right-hand side of the home page. There is an explanation of each on the pages below.

If you used Google Groups, you will be able to have the same capabilities in the Discussion Forums (a great place to discuss neighborhood topics of interest) and Community Alerts (where you can send out an email about missing animals, strangers in the neighborhood, etc that are time sensitive)

If you feel there is an area that we are lacking or would be good to include, please email [email protected]. I hope you all find that this Website meets your needs.




Customizing texts and emails

You can control exactly what you see and emails/texts that you receive or don't receive by going to the Personal Settings in the top right-hand corner of the page and clicking on the down arrow. Then click on Member Settings and when that page opens (see below), click on the Contact tab.

• In the first section (Receive these types of emails), check the boxes to receive notification emails.
  
• In the second section (Receive these types of text messages), check the box to receive texts.
  
• In the third section (Receive instant email notification) check the boxes if you want to receive instant emails for forum information. *Note: The default for this is unchecked so you will not receive email notifications unless you check this box. 
  
• The default for What's Happening email frequency is to receive update emails once a week. You can override this choice and select Weekly, Monthly, or Never. 
  

When you make your changes, click Save at the bottom.

Navigation Menu and Descriptions

*Please note that the pages that have locks on them can only be seen by accepted registered members of the agpoa.com site. Your information is not available to anyone else.

The Menu Bar is on the right side of the page. 

Board of Directors - Shows the names and contact info for the board members. (To email all of the Board Members at once, use the Contacts page and choose Contact AGPOA)

AGPOA News - Has basic info for the neighborhood.

AGPOA Events Calendar - Gives info about dates of meetings. If you want something added that would be of interest and open to many neighbors such as book club dates, please contact Jill Coyle.

Discussion Forums - This area is for everyone to discuss important issues of the neighborhood. This is where the majority of what was discussed in Google groups is located. *If you want to receive updates as they are posted, make sure to check the box in member settings to receive instant email notification. The default is not to receive instant emails.

Market Place - Service Recommendations and Items for Sale.

The Cook Book - Add your favorite recipes here. Notice they are divided by type.

• Property Owner Directory - A list of all property owners and their contact information who have registered for the Website.
• Contact AGPOA - A place where you can email the whole board.
